The super premium blended Scotch brand of Royal Salute is launching it’s 25 years old Kew old Palace Edition. A limited edition entry for the whiskey’s annual flask collection. By paying homage to the palace kitchen gardens, it will be noted with scented flora like violet and aromatic leaves on the nose.
It is rich, round and silky along with the signature Royal Salute’s Signature super fruity on the palate. It was first bottled in the year 1993, for celebrating Naruhito, Crown Prince of Japan, to Masaka Owada on 9 June that year.
Royal Salute as the name itself suggests a hint, have been the favorite of many memorable moments of the monarchy around the world. The first bottles were launched at the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II to celebrate this momentous occasion. The name takes inspiration from the 21 Gun Salute — a traditional sign of respect at special Royal occasions.
As Royal Salute continues to celebrate the extraordinary through celebratory whiskies and the occasions that call for them to be enjoyed. And, though it remains steeped in tradition, it perfectly balances modern needs by pushing the art of blending into new, creative and ambitious forms. And in the same way, it has been created this time as well, it has been created in the midst of the collaboration of Royal Salute’s director of blending, Sandy Hyslop, and perfumer Barnabé Fillion. It will be produced to the world in a ceramic flagon which is been inspired by the Kew Palace itself.
Royal Salute Kew Palace Edition will be available only in selected stores around the world in the price rate $ 790 ( ₹ 54063.65).
