Konik’s Tale
A small batch of Polish vodka made with three different grains. It is complex and very well balanced. It is named for Konik, which is a primitive Polish horse. Legend has it that just a glimpse of this mysterious beast is enough to ensure a good harvest for the grains used in vodka manufacturer.
Taste: Dry Palate, slightly creamy mouthful, slight note of caramel early in the palate and a faint palate of raspberry toward the end of the taste.
Siwucha Vodka
An ‘incompletely rectified’ polish Vodka. Siwucha translates literally as ‘Hooch’ or ‘Rot-gut’. Developed to faithfully replicate the vodkas of old through the addition of a portion of rectified barley spirit, this is perhaps as close as it’s possible to (legally) get to real, genuine Vodka from the old country. Apart from crystal water, the basis of the formula is a combination of many ingredients, mainly two types of rectified grain spirits. The components used for the production of the spirit contribute to the unique flavor of Siwucha and the addition of natural flavors extracted from a variety of wild berries particularly enhances its aroma. Siwucha is matured in old oak casks where it is fully harmonized and the color turns slightly yellowish.
