Green Spot Irish Whiskey:
Green Spot Montelena has initially been matured in traditional sherry and bourbon casks then finished for 12 months in French oak Zinfandel wine casks from the prestigious Chateau Montelena in Napa Valley, California.
Nose
Crisp oak combines with the soft sweetness of vanilla, white chocolate, and marshmallow, balanced with signature Green Spot red apples and ripe pears, along with pomegranate, cranberries and maraschino cherries, the contribution of the wine cask.
Taste
Sweet mouth coating takes on a dry note thanks to the effect of the wine cask. Pot still spices subside with zesty citrus leading to ripe orchard fruit and red berries. A touch of marzipan and toasted oak add to the complexity.
2.Teeling Single Grain Irish Whiskey
Teeling Single Grain is a wholly unique style within Irish Whiskey, pushing the boundaries of convention, at the interest of where old world meets new. Although most Irish blends contain a significant corn element, we wanted to create a unique flavor expression by focusing exclusively on grain whiskey, aged exclusively using Cabernet Sauvignon casks from the Napa Valley California, imparting a highly distinct red-berry and tannic profile. Bottling at 46% with no chill filtration completes this whiskey of true character.

Nose
Spice and fruit notes mingle with an underlying sweet nose.
Taste
Strong spice at the start developing into lush red berries and grapes, with drying tannin effect at the end.
Finish
Dry finish dominated by wood and spice.

Powers Gold Label is a complex spice and honeyed taste experience. Every drop is triple distilled, with more cut from the top and tail of the second and third Pot Still charges. This means only the purest heart of the distillate is captured. This is then left to mature in select American oak casks which allow our distillate driven style to shine. Powers Gold Label is blended with the finest grain whiskey, also exclusively matured in American oak casks. Finally, a proprietary Powers production technique enables a non-chill filtration at 43.2% ABV – unique amongst Irish whiskey.

The whiskey finishes with lingering hints of dried fruit and delicate brown or baking spice. 8. Dead Rabbit Irish Whiskey
The Dead Rabbit Grocery & Grog in New York, which has been voted the best bar in the world, teamed up with Dublin Liberties Distillery Master Distiller Darryl McNally to create this whiskey inspired by “notorious Irish street gang in New York City in the mid-1800s.” It’s a blend of aged Irish single malt and grain whiskeys. it’s considered “great for mixing, approachable, affordable, and comes in a damn fine looking bottle. Smelling this whiskey brings visions of golden barley, and on the palate, it’s robust and spicy with black pepper.”
