This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for all the Bartenders across the country to show their creativity and innovative style when it comes to bartending and crafting cocktails. Glenfiddich Single Malt Scotch Whisky announced the Indian Stage of the competition. Encouraging the entrants Glenfiddich in its true sense of new edge experimentation & artistry aims to inspire the spirits of the bartenders to create a path-breaking mastery and craftsmanship.
Bartenders have to submit their most innovative and original version of cocktail crafted by the Glenfiddich 12-Year-Old. They also have to show their style of making and win the points from the judges. The panel of Judge will be an amalgamation of various spares of the industry. The announcement of the shortlisted entries will be announced on 2 August 2018.
From this shortlisted candidates, they will be paired for the finals, each of the six bartenders will be cast opposite thoughtfully picked prolific minds known to push boundaries in their respective fields of art, design, gastronomy, music and more. This final will be held in the month of September 2018, that when the winner for the India leg will be announced. The duo has to work together in order to make a unique fashioning of it and create a redefining way of bartender and serving of the whisky brand.
The winners from India and around the world will be invited to the Glenfiddich Experimental Bartender Academy in Scotland where they will compete for the title of the ‘World’s Most Experimental Bartender’. And then the ultimate winners of this year’s competition will also be given the golden opportunity to showcase their creative work through an “Experimental Expedition”, visiting Tokyo International Bar Show and Bar Convent Brooklyn to take in two of the world’s most influential bar shows.
