Viiking Beverage a flagship company of Viiking Venture has announced the appointment of their new CEO Manoj Ansari, who has been seasoned executive with an expansive experience of 17 years. He will also report as the Chief Marketing Officer for Viiking Venture(Group).
As the year 2017–18 has been great for them especially with 300% growth rate and marking their presence in 15 states and 7 countries around the world, Ansari will be overlooking the sales growth and executing aggressive expansion planning. this plan will immediately implement with the opening of two new production units in Rajasthan and as well in the South, where else will also be looking to reach the North Eastern Indian making it available in all of Pan India. Viking Beverage is also in talks with its investors in order to raise up to 200 crores at the end of the quarter. By the end of 2019 or in early 2020, Viiking has also planned it’s Initial Public Offerings (IPO). Their very recent launch of King Goa Maxx, a strong lager beer has seen a significant growth over the 6 months especially with the summer season and FIFA season going on, it’s sales have grown enormously. They were initially producing only 45000–50000 cases but it has grown to 3 lakh cases a month. And with the demands growing, it requires for them to produce 5 lakh cases in a month.
Till their new production comes to full functioning life, they are also looking into sick units in the South where they are not producing to their real potential and Viiking Beverage will tie with them under sub leasing model to boost their production in the meantime. In the South, they are planning to expand their market in the states of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Kerala and Andhra Pradesh. These 5 states will add a 40 % of growth with 1 million cases per month in demand across the country. It will be taken care by the South India Brewery which will also cut their cost and increase their profit percentage.
With the expansion of digital marketing and technologies, Manoj Ansari has also proposed saying that they are also planning to implement software based selling tools in order to increase their efficiency and reach. Outside of the country, their next target seems to be continent Africa, where they will enter with their Goa Kings Maxx Beer.
